What is power washing?
Power washing applies the proper detergents with water through a high pressurised system of hoses and a nozzle to remove grime, mold, mildew and other undesirable stains. Using the latest ROTARY WHIRL AWAY SYSTEM the traditional mess made by high pressure washing is eliminated.
How long will it take to clean my drive?
Depending on the size of the area and amount of staining most drives will be cleaned within one day. This is also applicable to fencing, walls and paths.
How long will it take to re-sand and seal my block paved drive?
Re-sanding and sealing can only take place once the area is completely dry – usually 24 to 48 hours after cleaning, weather permitting. Again the work should be finished within one day.
Why have the surface sealed?
Sealing will restore and enhance the original colour of the surface; it will also provide extra protection against the elements and future staining.
What are the advantages of power washing?
Power washing saves money by helping to keep surfaces maintained. Power washing greatly improves the look and value of property at a cost efficient rate.
What's the difference between powerwashing, pressure washing, and high-power pressure cleaning?
Nothing. These are all terms used to describe the same process of cleaning dry surfaces with high- pressure water.
I have pets; will chemicals be used around my home?
Diluted cleaners are used to fight tough stains and we use properly mixed ratios of those cleaners. We use environmentally safe cleaners to ensure the best possible improvement to your property. Due to other factors, such as having to leave gates open and pulling hoses and for everyone’s safety, we ask that you please have all pets secured inside the home.
Will power washing cause damage to my timber decking?
No, not if DG PowerWashers is on the job.
What do I need to provide by way of services?
Our machinery has its own power source but we do require access to a water supply. If you don't have an outside tap we can discuss the best way to supply water when we visit to measure up and provide a quote.
Does DG PowerWashers work year round and /or through the winter months?
Yes we do work year round. However, we can not power wash when outside temperatures are below freezing.
Do I need to be home for you to power wash my driveway or home?
No, but we will need access to your exterior water supply
Do I need to be home for you to provide an estimate?
No, but we will need to inspect the area in which needs to be power washed.
Does DG PowerWashers provide a written estimate?
Yes, our written estimates are valid for 60 days unless otherwise noted.
Does DG PowerWashers use sub-contractors?
No.Only well trained DG PowerWashers personnel will complete the work requested.
What types of sealing products do you use?
We have a wide array of environment-friendly products to fit the job, and most stone cleaners who use sealants will use a cheap water based sealant that wont last longer than 3-6 months depending on how thick it is laid. Our sealant is resin based and although it is more expensive it is the only way forward when giving the customer value for money which is exactly what they expect.
What happens if my garden gets dirty, due to the overspray ?
At DG PowerWashers we always go the extra mile. Finishing touches and attention to detail are what keep customers coming back to us. At the end of each job we go around the area and use a low soft spray to rinse any areas that have been affected by the cleaning. Including windows and doors.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes in deed! We take pride in our quality work and professional service. If you are not completely satisfied with our work, we will return as soon as possible to touch up or fix the problem at no charge.
What makes DG PowerWashers different?
